Coronavirus Guidance

42 Kingsway is open  ‘business as usual’ but  we have introduced some changes to protect both our patients and the public in general. All appointments are triaged over the telephone and anyone invited to attend the surgery needs to ensure they were a mask when entering the building and use the hand gel provided.

Patients have found the remote consultation system very useful.  With the use of telephone, text messages, emails and video consultations the surgery has managed to deal with patients’ health problems and enquiries.   We have even matched the appointments we offer to the current demand. Please continue to use our E-consult service, providing us as much information as possible to help the clinician to deal with your case and do not forget to update the surgery with details of your mobile number.

GPs are now involved in a colossal COVID response that involves several organisations. Suspected or confirmed COVID cases will be dealt with at Litherland Town Hall. This avoids symptomatic patients entering GP sites, risking infection to other patients and staff.  It also allows the practice to carry out day to day essential work.

The way to defeat this enemy until everyone is vaccinated is by avoiding it and by acting together. Stay at home. Protect the NHS. Save lives.
